Build an AI Search Improvement Plan
An effective AI search plan connects customer questions to useful pages and repeatable observations. It should produce concrete improvements even when sampled answers do not change.
Choose a buying task
Start with a specific audience and decision, such as comparing integrations or understanding onboarding. Collect questions from customer conversations and check which pages should answer them. Avoid a broad goal such as "be recommended everywhere."
Turn findings into page work
Inspect sampled answers and available sources. Identify a factual error, missing explanation or usability problem, then write a brief with the affected URL, evidence and intended reader benefit. Assign an owner and define what a completed improvement looks like.
Review both the work and the observations
Keep an edit log and repeat the same questions under comparable settings. Judge the page on accuracy and usefulness; report any answer changes separately. Expand to another task when the review process is useful, rather than publishing more pages to meet a volume target.
