How to Make Your Content Useful as an AI Source
Create pages that answer real questions with clear, verifiable information. Then inspect whether those pages appear as linked sources in your monitored answers. No page format guarantees a citation.
Offer information a reader can use
A setup guide can explain prerequisites and exact steps. A comparison can use consistent criteria and dated sources. Original research should disclose how the work was done and what the results cannot establish. Avoid unsupported "best" claims.
Keep the explanation accessible
Use a descriptive title, readable headings and text for important facts. Give informative images alt text and preserve their proportions on mobile. Link related documentation and check that the page is reachable and indexable where intended.
Check the observed citation
When a link appears, record the question, engine, date and URL. Read the surrounding statement and confirm the page supports it. When a link is absent, investigate relevance and access instead of assuming one missing markup property explains the result.
